Time Trial

A few years ago I decided to look into the latest aero/road bikes with a view to purchasing one. However all the offerings were boring, bland, and similar. Looking back into cycling history, I discovered the wonderful Giant MCR monocoque, released in 1997. It was only around for two years until the UCI banned it, entrenching parallelogram frames in the sports cycling world to this day.

The obvious solution for me was to purchase a MCR frame - and pimp it with the best modern cycling equipment. This too is no easy task given the excess of marketing over engineering in the bicycle world.

But as an ex-motorcycle racer; I have a background in engineering and some large toolboxes I’ve dragged all over the world. So lets go have some fun …
