Engaging

In the first instance. you should use our contact forms and/or helpdesk tickets.

We have our own ScrumOps methodology to coordinate absolutely everything! This is a bunch of Sprint and Kanban boards with which we get tasks to completion.

Our ScrumOps is NOT passive. You may very well receive emails to join a project if you’re involved in a user story.

Overview

We have adopted the Taiga open source project management suite. It’s features strongly drive how we do projects.

We’ve produced our own best-practice project templates for how each style of project is created, and thus how it’s all internally organised.

Issues are tasks with severities and priorities. User Stories contain tasks. Epics contain User Stories. Sprints run over a timeframe and attempt to complete Epics. Epics can be placed on/off the Backlog - which are not slated as being currently worked upon.

Kanban projects don’t have a timeframe and highlight boards of User Stories.

All of our projects allow issues.

We may make you a User of our ScrumOps and give you Membership to Project(s). You may be assigned Tasks and/or be a Watcher of Tasks, Issues, User Stories, Epics. This will notify your in-box when something of import has happened within that unit of work.

What to do

Follow any email instructions.

Visit our ScrumOps portal. If the project is public, you should be able to access links etc; otherwise you’ll be directed to the login form.

You will have the appropriate permissions to comment and do what is being asked of you. If it is a substantial piece of work; your staff members will be assigned Roles with the ability to do quite a lot within the Scrum boards.

ScrumOps

Undoubtedly our Taiga has an intuitive and productive browser experience, but we believe it is often faster to work from the command line. Just as DevOps is all about greater productivity by running applications from the console, our ScrumOps does the same for project management.

Using auto-completion, and easily re-editing the previous command(s), it is simple to create new stories, issues, tasks, assign and close them (in multiples at once) and more.

ScrumOps allows us to real-time update projects within the course of a scrum meeting itself; all whilst not delaying the scrum, nor missing crucial detail while others are talking and participating.

Availability

Our full Taiga server suite is soon to be in your favourite cloud; underlined by our BastionLinux distribution. Details are here.
